Kiln Dried Firewood from South Yorkshire Firewood is a premium firewood product that offers the lowest moisture content and best possible burning performance. Kiln dried firewood is often recommended by stove maufacturers, fitters and chimney sweeps to ensure your stove and flue are kept in the best condition.
This product is dried by an assisted drying process in our state of the art biomass boiler powered drying kiln. The primary purpose of the boiler is to generate green electricity to power a farm with the heat take-off being used to heat our wood kiln. This makes for a highly sustainable kiln dried log product with a consistently low moisture content. Our kiln dried logs are available as mixed hardwood*, using only hardwoods that are known as good burning woods, mainly ash, oak, beech, birch & sycamore, depending on availability. Single wood species log orders may be available by request.

Delivery: We can deliver bulk bags to you on our drop-side van, fitted with a crane to leave the bags kerbside or on your drive, if access allows. Delivery will be free of charge in the South Yorkshire area. Logs will be left in the bag for you to restack at your leisure.

These kiln dried logs are dried to a moisture content of approximately 15%.
Kiln dried logs measure approximately 260mm long which should be suitable to fit most wood burners and fireplaces used in the UK. However, this is a natural product and some variation should be expected.
